Omdena launched the “Journal of Artificial Intelligence for impACT” (JAII), a new publication to showcase and promote innovative and impact-driven research in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science.

JAII aims to promote real-world solutions in health care, clean energy, sustainability, social welfare, good governance, etc. It will have an open-access policy, and all accepted papers will be published online free of charge. There is also no submission fee for authors, as Omdena entirely sponsors the journal.

“We are excited to launch the Omdena JAII to support researchers and experts worldwide in sharing their work. We made it open and free as we want that everyone has the opportunity to publish quality research work. A large chunk of our collaborators comes from underserved communities, and we always keep in mind, with whatever we do, how we can serve them. I hope this journal will also give another opportunity to our collaborators to develop their careers in AI research.” – said Rudradeb Mitra, CEO of Omdena.

The Omdena JAII welcomes submissions of original and unpublished work in the form of regular articles, surveys, applications, applied research, case studies, tutorials, and reports. More information about the initiative and general guidelines for preparing the manuscript can be found on the official website: https://www.omdena.com/jaii/
