AI Risk Intelligence Platform

You can find our upcoming AI Innovation Challenges at https://omdena.com/projects.
The Problem
With the rapid advancement of AI technologies, the global risk landscape has become more complex, opaque, and fast-moving. Stakeholders such as investors, ESG teams, or policymakers lack real-time tools to monitor and interpret AI-related risks, including governance failures, ethical violations, disinformation, and systemic disruptions.
Current monitoring solutions are siloed, reactive, and heavily content-focused, rather than built on robust frameworks. This limits foresight, slows response times, and hinders policy alignment across institutions.
This project aims to explore how real-time AI signals can be structured, scored, and made actionable through a modular intelligence platform.
The Project Goals
The primary goal is to develop a functional proof-of-concept (PoC) for an AI risk platform that can:
- Ingest real-time data
- Detect and classify early-stage risk signals
- Tag them using a flexible taxonomy
- Produce explainable risk scores within a lightweight, testable infrastructure
- Enable future mapping to compliance, ESG, and governance frameworks
What You’ll Help Build
We’re assembling a global team to prototype the following components:
- Data ingestion pipelines (e.g., news, social media, incident databases)
- Summarization modules using LLMs or open-source models
- Tagging frameworks for risk types (e.g., bias, governance, ethical issues)
- Scoring logic to classify and prioritize signals
- Dashboard MVP to visualize, filter, and export tagged risk data
- R&D modules: Innovation tracks will be encouraged during the challenge
Why It Matters
In a world where risks associated with Artificial Intelligence are evolving faster than ever, having tools that can detect, interpret, and act upon early warning signals is essential. Currently, monitoring solutions are reactive, fragmented, and not easily adaptable, which delays responses and complicates coordination among investors, ESG teams, and policymakers.
This project offers a unique opportunity to build a modular platform that not only collects real-time data but also structures, classifies, and scores risks in an explainable and actionable way. In doing so, it enhances the ability to anticipate ethical, governance, and systemic disruption issues, while also strengthening alignment with regulatory and sustainability frameworks on a global scale.
Participants will put into practice critical skills such as like applying NLP and LLM models to summarize complex information, designing flexible frameworks to tag different types of risks, and developing scoring systems to prioritize risk signals.
Full project details, scope, and vision will be shared with the selected team.
