About Chapter Leads

Irene

PhD in Advanced Technologies at the National Polytechnic Institute in the research area of Dynamic Systems applying his knowledge in the fields of Complex Systems, Data Topology and Data Science. She holds a Master's degree in Advanced Technology with honours and a Master's degree in Telematics Engineering, both degrees awarded by the National Polytechnic Institute as well. She is a researcher and member of the Laboratory of Complex Systems of the Unidad Profesional Interdisciplinaria de Ingenierías y Tecnologías Avanzadas (Interdisciplinary Professional Unit of Engineering and Advanced Technologies) since 2017, where she has directed and participated in several projects for the health sector in Mexico. She is a Data Practice in the company Apex Systems, which is dedicated to the implementation of data analysis projects mainly for US companies.

Mario

Mario Rodríguez has spent his time and career experiences contributing to society and some companies by giving better insights into what could be the best choice to take based on data. Mario is an Industrial Engineer with +3 years of experience in Project Management, Logistics, and Analytics. He has academic recognition from his Alma Mater, Universidad del Caribe from Mexico. EMario has contributed to his community with some research related to the failure of SMEs in his environment, and the localization of SMEs with data science. Nowadays, he is volunteering as a Project Manager in Omdena, and working as a Post- service executive in TUI.
