Project background.

Reports from South African Police show that car hijacking has been on the increase since April 2022 and June 2022. Can we reduce this problem by analyzing social media reports about stolen cars with machine learning highlighting hotspot areas of crime? By making this information available to security stakeholders, we hope to reduce response time to car hijacking and car hijacking itself.
