Project background.

More than a decade after the global financial crisis in 2008, which included Egypt, the world was devastated by the Covid 19 pandemic, which began in Egypt in February 2021.
Another bigger crisis has touched all countries and the consequences are expected to be even larger than those of the financial crisis. Given the strategy put in place to restrict the spread of the illness, it has been documented that this strategy/policy has affected citizens, particularly the vulnerable, in positive and negative ways in different countries. Most of the policies were lockdown, testing methods, travel restrictions, etc. In most countries of the world, the effect of some of the policies are still been felt in the economy and it may take time for these countries to recover from some of the policies.
