Challenge Background
To use AI to understand how people in Nigeria perceive the energy transition and their role in it.
The Problem
Energy transition refers to the global energy sector’s shift from fossil-based into renewable and clean sources of energy (solar, wind and water). This massive shift aims to move away from reliance on fuels that are destructive to the climate, the environment, and people’s well-being. The goal established by the UN is to “ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all” by 2030. A successful energy transition for the good of all humanity depends on the action of individuals.
Goal of the Project
Developing a model that can be implemented in delivering sustainable energy in Nigeria.
