Omdena launches a unique Impact Program for Local Communities initiative whose goal is to support local communities worldwide in building impact AI solutions. Teams working on real-world problems will have the opportunity to implement their projects with partner organizations.

“Impact Program for Local Chapters” is a program where teams worldwide will build impact AI projects in partnership with NGOs, local governments, or other mission-driven organizations. A detailed list of partner organizations will be announced soon on Omdena’s website.

The program focuses on three topics: health (mental or physical), environment and sustainability, and digital and good governance.

Omdena will also support the teams by providing free AWS cloud resources and $15,000 development support to the best three teams.

“This program will help local communities to develop real-world solutions by engaging the stakeholders. We at Omdena believe this is the right way to build ethical and impactful AI solutions”

– said Weronika Dorocka, Head of Local Chapters at Omdena.
