Wangari Kimotho

Wangari is a Data Scientist who begun the profession after completion of her Masters degree in Mathematics from African Institute of Mathematical Sciences. She has gained solid interest and experience in the craft through various projects especially those aligned with Computer Vision and Deep Neural Networks, Geospatial Data Analysis and development and Language Models. In 2022 Wangari was part of the Full Stack Deep Learning Course and completed it successfully after joining a team and developing a capstone project that involved efficient software engineering and end-end Machine Learning using Pytorch to develop a model that analyzes the Pros and Cons from Amazon reviews on websites. Wangari is a steadfast problem solver and ardent communicator of solutions.

Ezra Kivutha

Ezra is a computer science graduate from the university of Nairobi, has worked on different projects including a plant classification machine model. He joins Omdena with passion for data analytics and software engineering experience.

Odhiambo Mitchell

Mitchell is a machine learning engineer with a background in Actuarial Science from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. He is also an alumnus of the EquiTech Futures Applied Data Institute and a founding member of the Measuring Carbon Project at EquiTech Futures. Measuring carbon’s goal is to offer a path forward for standardized, affordable, easy-to-use monitoring, reporting, and verification of carbon using a combination of satellite data and IoT devices
