Dr. Rubaiyat Islam

Dr. Rubaiyat Islam is a researcher currently working as a Cryptoeconomist at Sifchain Finance, USA. He is also an adjunct/part time faculty of Independent University, Bangladesh. He had completed his Ph.D. from Graduate School of Simulation Studies, University of Hyogo, Japan. His Ph.D. thesis was focused on network analysis and simulation model development of crypto-currency based blockchain networks and its flow dynamics. He aspires for research in blockchain based distributed solution development, network analysis with predictive modelling and simulation . He is also actively working with to solve real world issues with Omdena machine learning and deep learning projects. He has extensive experience in the Information Technology sector in corporate MNCs and have completed an Executive MBA degree major in “Operation Management”, in order to understand the financial and marketing side of product development and service delivery planning and forecasting. He is also highly interested in developing interdisciplinary collaborations, novel teaching methods and modes of instruction which will fully engage the students in the learning process. As an academic collaborator he is also a part timer faculty educating frontier technologies in Computer Science Department at Independent University, Bangladesh. He has participated in joint research collaboration projects, conferences etc.

Dr. Saadia Binte Alam

Dr. Saadia Binte Alam, Member, IEEE, has completed her Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, Graduate School of Engineering, University of Hyogo, Japan. She worked as “JSPS Postdoctoral Research Fellow” at the Advanced Medical Engineering Center (AMEC), University of Hyogo, Japan. She also worked as “Visiting Scholar” at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, Graduate School of Engineering, University of Hyogo, Japan. Her research interest focuses on medical image and signal processing, machine learning, AI, IoT etc. Dr. Alam was awarded the prestigious JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship, Japanese govt. MEXT scholarship, Best paper award, and a number of awards/scholarships. She completed her B.Sc.(honors) and M.S. from the Department of Applied Physics, Electronics & Communication Engineering, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr. Saadia Binte Alam is working as “Associate Professor” at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). She served as the “Chair and Associate Professor” at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, International University of Business, Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT), Bangladesh. As an academician, Dr. Alam published a few book chapters (available in Springer, IntechOpen), and several peer-reviewed journal and conference papers as the first author. She was invited as a guest speaker at different universities/academic institutes. As an academic collaborator, she has established international MOU and joint research collaboration projects, involved with editorial activities etc. She also volunteered for several environmental and scientific societies in Japan and Bangladesh.
