Akayou Adane
Akayou is a recent Software Engineering graduate from Addis Ababa University. After working for a couple of companies before and after graduating, he decided to pursue machine learning as a career. He is interested in using machines to solve problems related to health and farming. He plans to use his position as a local chapter lead to collaborate with other engineers to solve problems that exist in Ethiopia.
Beimnet
Beimnet is a machine learning enthusiast who is enrolled in Addis Abeba University's Software Engineering program. Having studied math and computer science in the past, he has a strong interest in artificial intelligence and all of its subfields, including machine learning, natural language processing, and image recognition. Beimnet is having a great time putting theory into practice through coding challenges with independently conceived projects that have forced him outside of his comfort zone. His objective is to apply the information he has gained and his love of software engineering to create user-friendly programs that can intelligently handle massive volumes of data using artificial intelligence models.

I am a Data Engineer with M.Sc. in Computer Science and extensive SQL, Python, data preprocessing, transformation, visualization, analytics, feature engineering, and modeling experience. I am also experienced in creating fault-tolerant distributed and scalable end-to-end data pipelines.
Debela
Debela is a master's student in artificial intelligence at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. He is passionate about using AI to solve real-world problems in his community. He has knowledge of machine learning, computer vision, and data science, and he is committed to use his skills to make a positive impact. As an Omdena local chapter lead, Debela is responsible for managing a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers. He is working on projects that address local issues, such as poverty, food insecurity, and access to education. Debela is committed to use the power of AI to make a meaningful contribution to his community.
Ellen
Ellen is a software engineering graduate with a passion for data science and artificial intelligence. With experience in both fields, she has developed a unique skill set that allows her to approach problems from multiple angles. As a data scientist, Ellen has worked on projects ranging from predictive modeling to natural language processing. She is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to collaborate with others on cutting-edge AI projects. In her free time, Ellen enjoys reading about the latest advancements in technology and exploring new programming languages.

I'm Elyas Abate. I was Born in 1998 in small town Kombolcha Ethiopia. I Graduated in Management in 2021 and in software engineering in 2022 from Wollo university. Currently i'm working as software engineer at local It company in Ethiopia.

Firi is a software engineering graduate from Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia. She is an AI enthusiast, and believes that that's where the future lies. She is passionate about giving back and learning how to make a positive community-driven impact and bettering others' lives as it gives life meaning.

Surafel Kindu is a software engineer and AI enthusiast based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He has over four years of experience in web development, and mobile application development, using various technologies such as React, Node.js, Flutter, and React Native. Surafel is passionate about solving real-world problems using AI and creating innovative solutions that can improve lives. He is also an active member of the AI community in Ethiopia, organizing and participating in events, workshops, and hackathons.
Tigabu
Tigabu Abriham is a young, dynamic African innovator who is attempting to address multifaceted African challenges with youth-driven technical solutions. Tigabu earned his bachelor's degree in electrical computer engineering from Jimma University, one of Ethiopia's most prestigious universities, and is presently an M.Sc. candidate and AI researcher. He is a big fan of artificial intelligence. He was raised in the southwest of Ethiopia, where agriculture is the foundation of the local economy. As a result, he always asks himself, "How can I serve my community?" He observed numerous bottlenecks in the provision of high-quality healthcare services, agricultural productivity, and the like. Together with his friends, Tigabu always came up with very creative solutions that addressed those issues and attempted to de-escalate the situations at various times using AI technology. Tigabu is an enthusiastic leader, an optimist, a visionary, and a gracious entrepreneur. He is the one who understands challenges from several angles and sees the chances hidden behind every challenge.
