Project background.

Illegal waste dumping is a growing worldwide problem that affects millions of people around the world. It is one among many global challenges today and solving illegal dumping is critical for achieving the societies well being. Identifying illegal dumpsites will help to make our towns and cities cleaner in a sense it will enable people to live a happy and healthy life.

The problem.

The challenge will help to solve the problem of illegal dumpsites thereby helping reduce the number of illegal dumpsites and help our community live in cleaner surroundings and fight global climate change.

Project goals.

In this project, the Omdena Kagera Chapter aims to develop an AI model that will help identify illegal dumpsites. The project's primary is to identify the location of illegal dumpsites.
